YourForeman ("we," "us," or "our") operates the YourForeman field diagnostic platform, accessible at yourforeman.co. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you subscribe, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers).

Job data. Diagnostic sessions — equipment type, problem descriptions, checklist steps, and parts notes — are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly take an action (such as sending an invoice).

Usage data. We collect anonymized usage metrics (page loads, feature interactions) to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included in these metrics.

2. QuickBooks Online Integration

If you connect YourForeman to QuickBooks Online, we access your QBO account solely to:

• Create and manage customers in your QBO account
• Create draft invoices on your behalf
• Read your chart of accounts to categorize service items

We do not sell, share, or use your QuickBooks data for any purpose other than performing the integration actions you explicitly request. OAuth access tokens are stored in your browser's local storage and are never persisted on our servers. You can disconnect YourForeman from QuickBooks at any time by revoking access in your QuickBooks account settings or by clearing your browser data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the YourForeman service
• To process subscription payments
• To send service-related communications (receipts, updates)
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Our servers are hosted on Railway (railway.app), a SOC 2-compliant platform. Diagnostic job data is stored in your browser's local storage and remains on your device. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

5. Data Retention

Account information is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Intuit QuickBooks Online — optional invoice integration
• Railway — cloud hosting

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

YourForeman is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
